Being a reference. If you know what a Sade Sati report is and want one, a reference tool beats a conversation. Asking an AI to produce something you could have looked up is slower.

What an AI kundli app is better at

Answering the question behind the question. "Is my Mangal Dosha serious?" isn't really a request for Mars's house position — it's usually about a marriage conversation happening at home. Classical software hands you the placement. A conversation can work out what you're actually asking.

Not requiring vocabulary you don't have. Traditional tools assume you know what a lagna, dasha or kuta is. That's a real barrier for a first-time user, and the reason many people bounce off classical software and conclude astrology is impenetrable.

Follow-ups. The second and third questions are where understanding happens, and static reports have no answer to them.

Do they agree on the numbers?

Mostly, and where they don't it's usually explainable:

• Ayanamsa. Both typically default to Lahiri, so sidereal positions should match closely. A different ayanamsa shifts everything slightly and can change a sign near a boundary.
