Best Free Kundli Websites in 2026: 7 Compared on What You Actually Get

September 6, 2026Updated October 6, 2026KundaliAI Team

Short answer: for a reference-grade chart with every divisional and a 120-year dasha table, use Drik Panchang. For the widest set of classical tools, AstroSage or Prokerala. For a free PDF report with written predictions, AstroNidan. For a conversation about the chart that is grounded in the computed positions, Kundali AI or KundliGPT. All seven compute the same chart from the same birth details, so "most accurate" is the wrong question; "what do I get for free, and can I check it" is the right one, and that is what the table below answers.

Disclosure: Kundali AI is our product and appears in the list. Every claim about another site was re-checked against that site's own pages on 6 October 2026. If something has changed, tell us and we will correct it.

How we compared them, and how you can

We did not score these sites on a rubric; we read what each one offers and where the free part ends, and we checked the positions we could. Three things anyone can check in five minutes, and should before trusting any of them:

  1. Do the positions agree? Enter one birth on two sites and compare the lagna degree, the Moon's nakshatra and pada, and the current mahadasha. Sites using the same ayanamsa agree within a few arcminutes. If two disagree by a whole sign, check the ayanamsa setting before blaming either; if the ascendant differs by hours, it is the birth time or timezone entry.
  2. Is the free thing the thing you wanted? Several sites give the chart free and the reading paid, or the chart free and the AI behind a login. The table's "login" and "free interpretation" columns are the ones to read.
  3. Can you verify it? Only Kundali AI publishes a check of its ephemeris against Drik Panchang (here); Drik Panchang is itself the almanac most Indian households check against. The others are trusted on track record, which is a fair basis for a twenty-year-old site and a weaker one for a new one.

The method in full is in Is AI astrology accurate?.

Each site, in one paragraph

Drik Panchang

The reference desk. Any planetary chart, Bhav Chalit, every divisional from D1 to D60, a Vimshottari table you can walk for 120 years, and North, South and East Indian layouts. It saves charts in an editor and matches the printed panchang your family uses because, in many households, it is that panchang. What it does not do is explain anything: it assumes you can read a chart. If you can, start here.

AstroSage

The largest free tool set in Indian astrology and the most-used app. Kundli, matching, dosha, varshphal, muhurat, per-minute AI astrologer chat on the website (first call or chat free), ten-plus languages. The site is dense and ad-heavy, and the deeper reports are paid. We compared it with an AI kundli app at length in AstroSage vs an AI kundli app.

Prokerala

Breadth without the app push: a clean free chart in two styles, a Western natal chart, KP and Lal Kitab, muhurat and choghadiya for any city, and real Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam depth. No AI, no chat, paid PDF transit reports. Full comparison in Prokerala vs Kundali AI.

AstroNidan

The most generous free document: a 10-page PDF with the charts, the dasha timeline and six written personality reports, no login. The AI chat is a separate product: the first chat is free with 100 coins on signup, then pay as you go from ₹99 per query. The site is in English and Hindi. If you want something to read offline, it is the best free PDF on this list.

KundliGPT

The conversational pioneer, with 15 languages, four specialist AI astrologers (Classic, Love, Career, Daily) and around 25 calculators marked free with no sign-up. The chat is the product: 3 free questions with no signup, 30 free coins (about 3 questions) on sign-up, then coins — or a 151-coin 1-Day Pass for 24 hours of unlimited chat. Full reports are paid (a Full Kundli is 251 coins). Its about page names Swiss Ephemeris; its pages don't state the ayanamsa. It is the closest competitor to Kundali AI in shape; we compared the two and the rest of the AI field in Best AI astrology apps 2026 and KundliGPT alternatives.

Astrotalk

A free kundli and matching tool in front of a marketplace of live astrologers billed per minute, with the first chat free. The free tools are fine; the site's purpose is the consultation, so expect the interface to lead you there. Right choice if what you want is a human on the phone.

Kundali AI

Ours. The chart, the planetary table with degrees, yogas, matching, Mangal dosha, nakshatra, lagna and dasha calculators, a daily panchang and a computed rashifal, all free with no login and no ads; then an AI astrologer that reads the computed chart into the conversation, five questions free. The two things we do that nobody else on this list does: publish the accuracy check, and let you copy the computed chart into ChatGPT or Claude if you would rather ask there. What we lack against Drik, AstroSage and Prokerala is breadth, and Tamil and Telugu.

Which one to open

  • "I need the chart, I can read it": Drik Panchang.
  • "I need a printout to show someone": AstroNidan's PDF, or Prokerala's chart.
  • "I need a muhurat, a panchang for a date, or KP": Prokerala or AstroSage.
  • "I have the chart and questions": Kundali AI, then KundliGPT.
  • "I want a person": Astrotalk.
  • "I want to check whether any of them is right": compare each against Drik Panchang for one date, the way the accuracy page does.

FAQ

Which free kundli website is the most accurate?

For the calculation, they should agree: they compute sidereal positions from an ephemeris, Lahiri is the usual default (KundliGPT's pages don't state its ayanamsa), and with the same ayanamsa and birth details the positions match within arcminutes. Differences of a whole sign come from a different ayanamsa setting or a timezone entry, not from a wrong engine. Only Kundali AI publishes a check against Drik Panchang; Drik Panchang is the usual reference itself.

Is there a free kundli website without login?

Yes. Drik Panchang, AstroSage, Prokerala, Astrotalk and Kundali AI generate the chart with no account. AstroNidan's chart is free without login but its AI needs a signup; KundliGPT's calculators are marked free with no sign-up, and its chat gives three questions before asking for one.

Which site gives a free kundli PDF?

AstroNidan's free kundli comes as a 10-page PDF with written reports. Kundali AI exports the computed chart as a text file for use with AI assistants rather than as a formatted PDF.

Which free kundli site explains the chart?

The reference sites (Drik Panchang, Prokerala, AstroSage) give tables and standard text per placement. AstroNidan gives written reports. Kundali AI and KundliGPT answer questions about your specific chart in conversation, which is the only format that follows up.

Do free kundli websites use the same ayanamsa?

Most default to Lahiri, the Indian standard. Some (Drik Panchang, AstroSage) let you change it. If two sites disagree by about a degree, that is usually a different ayanamsa; if they disagree by hours in the ascendant, it is the birth time or timezone.

Is Kundali AI really free?

The chart, every calculator, the daily panchang and rashifal, and the first five questions to the AI astrologer are free with no login. More questions cost credits; there is no subscription and no advertising.
